The Practical Driving Test
The practical driving test is designed simply to see if you can drive safely, know the highway code and can demonsrate this through your driving ability.The test will require you to :
- Pass an eyesight test (if you cannot read a license plate at the required distance the test will not go ahead)
- Answer two questions on 'Show Me Tell Me'
- You may be asked to carry out an emergency stop
